Dr. Bill Bommer is Team Leader, Leadership Development for Bachmann Global Associates, where he works with clients on diagnosing organizational issues, OD interventions, 360-degree assessments and executive education.
Bill not only teaches graduate courses in Leadership Skills, Organization Development & Change, Consulting Skills and Organizational Behavior, but he also brings those skills to the aid of his clients. Professor Bommer's practice focuses on management development, leadership training, transformational leadership and helping-behaviors within the organizational setting.
His consulting experience spans 15 years. Bill has conducted leadership programs for senior managers at a variety of companies, including Centers for Disease Control, Promina Healthcare and Scientific-Atlanta, Inc. In addition, he has developed executive education programs, created in-house training for multiple manufacturing firms across the United States and served as Accenture's subject matter expert in preparing a financial management training system for BellSouth.
Dr. Bommer’s expertise in skills assessments is evidenced by his continuing practice of 360-degree assessments and through his founding and managing of an assessment center that is used by many universities across the country.
Bill has presented more than two dozen papers at professional meetings and has published articles in a number of prestigious management journals. He received his BS in Economics and his Master's in Organizational Development from Bowling Green State University, and then earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Indiana University.
